Among the species of truffle, it is the most widespread. Its unmistakable fragrance is sweet, pleasant; the taste, delicate.

Net Weight: the average size ranges from a nut to little more than an orange. However, they are not rare truffles reaching the kilo.

Ideal: appetizers, pasta dishes, meat or fish, eggs, filling for fresh ingredients or as ingredient for pizza, focaccia, wraps and dry pasta.

Matchings: excellent sliced or chopped in pasta dishes and fried eggs.
The most creative in the kitchen can use it in ravioli or tortellini filled with ricotta or sweet cheese. Ideal to prepare the pizza with truffle.
